Walking by Faith

We are in Faith because we are believing God. We believe what’s written in the Word. The just shall live by faith, the scriptures say.

Hebrews 10:38 (King James Version)

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him

Faith is always making the way for God to work in your life. Faith makes a way. Here is what unbelief does; it says I’m sick, I’m hurting, I tried praying yesterday but it didn’t work. I’m still hurting.

Faith is according to the Word of God, believing you receive when you pray. Faith believes it receives when you pray.

Let’s say you need a job, or whatever. It is your need we are talking about in the natural realm. You go in prayer and you ask the Lord for a job. Then you leave your place of prayer and somebody says, well do you have a job? Have you found a job? And, you say no, there just doesn’t seem to be anything out there for me. I have looked and I have looked.

What’s wrong with that? Well you prayed and you ask God for a job but, you forgot to believe that you received a job. Faith believes it receives when it prays, not when it’s seen. If you believe and suddenly while you were praying, you got a job, you wouldn’t need faith because you already have the job.

So, faith is for us when we haven’t received. When we need a manifestation from Heaven, we need to pray believing you have received it. You don’t want to get into talking about how it didn’t work or, how you are still looking for a job. That’s unbelief.

What happened? You didn’t receive when you prayed. You just prayed. You asked for it, but you didn’t take it. Faith takes when it prays and then it talks like it has it.

So, faith believes it receives when it prays, whatever it is, healing, salvation of your children. Some things can take a while to come around where other people are concerned.

What if you are believing for your child? You believe you receive when you pray. Your child comes in drunk. He is high on drugs. The sheriff calls you that they have picked up your child. He is in jail and you have got to come bail him out.

And, yet you have been believing for his salvation. Now if you quit believing for his salvation because the opposite thing has happened, what are you doing? You are letting go of your faith.

Faith believes it receives the answer. You go to the scripture, you find the answer, you pray it, you believe it, you take it. When you take the answer, you talk the answer. You do not give up. You do not become despondent. You don’t beat your child to death when you get home. You deal with him. You take his car away from him. But, you don’t quit believing for him.

Your child, if you don’t let go of your answer, will turn out right. If you don’t let go. Faith hangs in there. The same thing is true of healing. The same thing is true of prosperity.

Hebrews 10:35 (King James Version)

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.

You have great reward. When the pressure is on, you have to hang on to your faith. Just because hard times come or, something turns out different than you are believing, you have got to hang on to your faith.

If you are not moved by what you see, what are we moved by? We have a scripture that we are moved by. We are moved by what the Word says. You go to the Word and you find the scripture that you need and God says you can have it and what you do is you take it.

Hebrews 10:36-38 (King James Version)

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Something is required on our part. You do the will of God.

Now, today, not tomorrow, the just shall live by faith. The just shall live by what God says and not what the circumstances say. Not by what the doctor says. Not by what the televisions says. Not by what the neighbor says, or the boss. The just shall live by faith.

If you quit believing God, you give up. You let go of what the Word says. What you are saying is, I’m throwing in the towel. I’m quitting. I’m giving up, this doesn’t work.

You don’t say those words, this is just not working. I mean I’m just not getting any results. I’ve been believing God. I’ve been confessing the Word and nothing’s happening.

When do you get to say things like that? When is it ok to give up? Never! You hang in there until the answer comes. What if it takes a year? It took Daniel twenty-one days. What if Daniel had given up on the twentieth day?

Now (today) the just shall live by faith. If God said in His Word that I can have it, then I can have it. God said if two agree touching anything on the earth, they shall have whatever they ask. Then if we touch anything together and agree then we can have it and it will come to pass.

A husband and wife can agree touching their children and have what they ask. They can touch that thing with their faith and change it to be right. That’s walking by faith.

It is taking scripture and putting it in your eyes, in your ears, get it in your heart, saying it out of your mouth. You do this for whatever you need, a car, a house, a job, healing, prosperity whatever the need might be.

Hebrews 10:38 (King James Version)

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

God is not getting any pleasure when you draw back because you can’t receive what He has for you. You cut yourself off from the blessing.

Hebrews 10:39 (King James Version)

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

When you are in a hard place and the devil is trying to get you to quit, get in the scriptures and start saying them out loud.

Hebrews 11:1 (King James Version)

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now (today) faith is the substance (the evidence) of things hoped for.

If I hope to have a new house, if I hope to have a new car, that’s good but, it’s not substance. It’s good to hope but faith has substance. Faith gets the new car.

When you hope for a new car there is nothing to take hold of. Faith says, I’ve got it. You take it. You take the salvation of your children.

Who decides whether you’re in faith, or whether you’re in hope, or whether you are in unbelief? You do. You make the decision.

Faith is in the now. If you are believing for something tomorrow, that’s hope. Hope is in the future.

Faith is the substance of things not seen. The moment that you believe that you receive, substance happened in the spirit realm. It took place.

When you learn this, you will learn to pray, Lord I believe I receive that job right now. I’m asking you to show me where it is. Lead me. Direct me. Guide me.

We hope for things, but faith gives substance. It brings it into the material, the here and now realm. Faith takes hold of things we can’t see and it brings it into this realm where it can be seen.

Hebrews 11:3 (King James Version)

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

What did God say? Let there be light. He made the sun. He made the moon. He said it and it came to being. God operates by faith. What were the sun and moon made of? Faith. God’s Word. Our Word as we speak God’s Word, as we act on God’s Word. The manifestation comes into the natural realm.

Some people would say, I don’t believe that, it would be too easy. Well you try it and see how easy it is. See how easy it is to stand by faith and not be moved by what you see. It’s not easy. It takes a lot of determination. It takes a bold step to say I believe I receive regardless of what you see here in the natural realm.

Hebrews 11:6 (King James Version)

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

If I don’t believe God is real then how am I going to come up to Him? It’s not going to happen. He that comes to God must believe that He is. And, you must believe that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.

Faith believes it receives when it prays. Now that is the key to receiving.
